Biography
Dr. Brooks is a native to the panhandle. He was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Panama City, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where he majored in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Brooks obtained his medical degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency training in Cleveland, Ohio. He spent his time there specializing in primary podiatric medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Brooks has been in private practice since 2002, treating patients in both his Pensacola and Destin, Florida office locations.
In his down-time, Dr. Brooks, enjoys off-shore fishing, travelling, softball, surfing and playing with his loveable lab, Daisy.

2000 St. Michael Hospital - Primary Podiatric Medicine. Concentration on hospital based medicine and surgery. Emphasis on hospital protocol, emergency and infection control management.
2001 Alliance Community Hospital– Foot and Ankle Surgery. Concentration on general medical and surgical care of hospitalized and outpatient podiatric surgical patients. Recognition of systemic health problems in the surgical patient. Training in foot and ankle surgery and traumatology.
2002 Alliance Community Hospital – Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery. Concentration on major pedal pathology associated with systemic diseases, requiring either inpatient or outpatient management. Surgical training acquired with exposure to forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery.
